Has anyone used Abralon discs on a ROS . The 2000 and 4000 could be used before buffing. I have tried a trial with 1000 grade used dry with a Dewalt ROS on Nitro ,the results seem very promising. The dust is vacuumed up through the Abralon pad. |

I have not use Abralon on my ROS but I use micromesh every guitar really speeds up the leveling and sand out. you can get a pretty good gloss going through micromesh 12000 |

I like the abralon pads for pre-polish sanding. You have to level with something more 'traditional', since they give too much for that (say 1200 grit wetordry, assuming you've pre-levelled and then shot a final coat over that), and the abralon to get rid of sucessive scratches, etc. Works a charm. |

I have used the 2000 and 4000 with an ROS and a 1/2" interface pad that allows a softer buffing type surface. This is of course after the surface is completely level. Check out Mike Doolins finishing schedule in the OLF Online resources page for more info on how Mike does it. |

A friend recently told me of a little electronic rig that creates an ultrasonic squeal that rats & mice find intolerable. Her place was horribly infested & after a week with the gizmo she is rat free. Next time I go to town, I gotta get me one of those! |
